in which i forget the negative control
crap. I accidentally forgot to put in the negative control for one of the pcr plates I was running today in lab. In which I talk to an aim bot.
So I guess one of my friend’s AIM accounts got hacked recently cause random bot’s have been chatting with me. This sn looked like one of friend’s sn so I actually thought it was a person at first. The conversation gets strange at the end.

dna extractions and cantonese
Work is SOOO monotonous, all I do every day is just sit there and mash up samples of tree root fungi for DNA extraction. It’s not bad, but it’s extremely boring and I use almost no conscious brain function at all. Good time to put off stuff I always said I would do, but never had the motivation to do. Boredom seems to be a good motivator. Just a few things I’ve been able to do...

a lot of lives have been turned upside down, and the death toll as of right now stands officially at 400 and rising. I’ve heard an uncomfortable amount of joking around the news. Please stop making light of all this. And for those of us who call ourselves Christians, lives lost mean souls lost if they are not saved. Don’t make light when people are lost for eternity.
